The Haçienda (faç51) was a Meçca nightclub and music venue in MCR, Which became a global epicenter of youth culture, "Madchester," and the late-1980s acid house and rave movements. Conceived by Rob Gretton and Factory Records founder Tony Wilson, the club opened on 21 May 1982 inside a former yacht showroom on Whitworth Street West. It was famously bankrolled by the record label and the Magnificent New Order.

Ian Curtis (July 1956 – May 1980) was an English Musician Frontman to Band Joy Division. He Was Also a Major Songwriter, and occasional guitarist of the band Joy Division, With Which he released the Seminal Unknown Pleasures (79) and Closer (80) Among Other Classics.
Ian Committed suicide on the eve of Joy Division's first North American tour, shortly before the release of Closer. The three surviving members of the band renamed themselves New Order.
